At least he didn't lie here. He said he wanted to put into context why they rejected the offer (which was 50/50). I'm not mad at them for rejecting a 50/50 fight with Ward, to pursue a fight with Cotto or Canelo. That's business! I'm just tired of this "I'm fighter, not business man" bull****! GGG is "business man" just like 99% of fighters and promoters. I just want his fans to recognize that "they rejected a 50/50 offer" to fight Ward. I understand their reasoning, because Cotto and Canelo are bigger PPV draws. The other point of note is "Why no catch-weight for Chavez Jr.?"

Eh, I dunno how much stock to put into this quote. I generally like Loeffler and find him real and believable (unlike Sanchez). But this goes against what Golovkin himself has said about Chavez:

#3 Julio Cesar Chavez Jr: "Not interest now because he's a lot of talk. He has big mouth. 172, 160, 165, 168, 175, like, he's not real. Not now. ... He's not serious. Not right now, no."
        Source: BLH

Personally, I think this was just Loeffler being politically correct - saying they're open to the fight, not outright turning it down.

If the Polish Prince made JR do a dance in the corner, what would GGG do to him?
          I would enjoy seeing that

              Whatever happened to Danny Jacobs?

Why doesn't anybody ever talk about him?

We knew that right off the bat when they CHOSE to fight Wade instead of Saunders for a BELT. They always say it's about the BELT and $2.5 million more wasn't worth it I guess? They still would of made $$$$$ paying Saunders $4 million. Or meet in the middle. Their "Life Changing Offer" was $1.5 (Why did they let the rumors spread to $6 million?? Is beyond me, when I heard that I called Saunders a HUGE ducker) and Saunder said he would of fought in the STATES for $4 million. So meet in the middle at $2.75 million... But don't say you just want a belt and then action and $$$$ says other wise.

According to WBA, if Canelo fight falls through then Danny is mandated to fight GGG.. A good fight on the east coast.. MSG may be.. Heck, I'm going to that one..

I was at the Garden for the Lemieux fight. Although I'd rather see Canelo next, Id be happy to go see Golovkin-Jacobs. Kudos to the WBA for ordering this fight.
