Must be hard knowing your hero ducked.

Probably not the case as these HBO numbers only include subscribers and not any of the people taking advantage of the free preview weekend...great numbers for Spence though either way, I hope people start following his career closely..

I'm curious as to how many people actually did watch the GGG fight including the free weekend people..could be close to 2 million perhaps...

And the only reason that Ward is even talking about Golovkin is because Golovkin and his camp ran their mouths about whooping every fighter 154-168(Sanchez) and were chasing fights with super middleweights with no concern about fighting at 168; the 168 king steps forward, wanting to dead all this noise about Golovkin "whooping every fighter 154-168", and Golovkin's camp immediately runs to "we can't make the fight at 168 anymore (only to now be fine with fighting at 168 for Gilberto Ramirez).

This isn't true. Bute never ducked the super six, he just wasn't invited.
Showtime later contracted him to a 3 fight deal, wanting him to fight the eventual winner of the super six, and even featuring him a month before the super six championship in a fight against Glen Johnson. (Glen Johnson being one of the semifinalist in the Super Six Tournament)
Bute was considered the 2nd best guy at SMW and was an enormous draw in Canada. The reasons Ward gave not to fight Bute were ridiculous.

Yeah that almost seems like halfway between 2 divisions..or did Ward also hold a middleweight title like Canelo does? Lol, you stay losing in every argument...

People here proving once again that they don't actually comprehend what they read.

GGG/Wade went up against NBA playoffs, UFC and if I'm not mistaking Game of Throwns. Not bad at all.

Btw Higher ratings AND higher attendance numbers for GGG.

              GGG-Wade attendance: 16,353

              Ward-Barrera attendance: 8,532

Now you know who is who.
Who does HBO push harder? Who does HBO spend more time and money promoting? GGG. Therefore he should sell more because it seems every time HBO runs an AD about boxing they either show Pac or GGG. However, if you factor in the time and money they spend advertising GGG compared to Ward, their drawing power is about the same.
IMO if HBO pushed Ward on the public in the same manner as GGG, Ward's numbers would be higher.

It only went against UFC. NBA playoffs were off by that time. And how the HELL did it go against GoT? SMH

Awesome performance. Just proves that the couple NSB haters are a meaningless and irrelevant minority.
