Just like Lil G accepting step aside money since he became the mandatory, right? It's been close to 2 yrs and instead of enforcing his mandatory status the dude keeps taking the dough yet he expects real fans to believe that it's not about the money but unifying the division,LOL

What's sad is you can give Canelo props for what he has done and the opponents choose but now that he can't make 154 how is it fair to ask a real 154 champion to come up to his weight where he will outweigh them massively?
He's been doing this for a long time too, starting to losing respect for him you hold a middleweight title you beat a middleweight champion...
He should have dropped the belt If he never wanted to fight at 160 its as simple as that, Cotto even had the balls to fight at 157 against a real middleweight.

This is what I've been saying all along. Canelo is a jr middleweight that fell into a unique situation and won a middleweight trinket. Lineal title or not, the title lost credibility when Cotto, a jr middleweight, politricked his way into an undeserved title shot against a wounded champion looking to cash out. And just because Cotto and Canelo won the belt, it doesn't make them middleweights. If you look at The Ring magazine ratings, Canelo has beaten the top 3 jr middleweights. He's never even fought a legitimate middleweight. People have become so belt crazy that common sense no longer exist.

As for the middleweight belt Canelo holds. Its a bargaining chip. And its something he can disgard without an real care or concern. He's never once said he won't fight GGG. He's said he's the A-side, which he is. He's also said he wants the fight at 155. Which as the A-side, is his right. GGG can either play ball or move on. The ball is in his court. But Canelo isn't gonna be dictated to by anybody. Not thr WBC. Not a lesser star in GGG.

At this rate yes he can get away with it for now but he isn't doing himself any favours, I think he knows the danger of fighting GGG getting slapped about for however many rounds before eventually getting stopped it is even more damaging than his drastic weight draining tactic possibly.

Are you celebrating the fact that your hero Lil G keeps lying to all his fanboys that he wants all the belts but keeps taking step aside money for two yrs now?
