It's bigger than the piece of **** WBC belt. Canelo represents the crossover appeal & payday GGG desperately needs. 3-4 pounds isn't much to ask for such a career advancement. Tons of great fighters have done it before.

Canelo without the belt can fight Pacquiao.. Still make 20-30 Mil.

GGG with the WBC, IBF and WBA still makes 1.5-2 Mil a fight.

You forgot the main part: there's no offer, Canelo people said "some day, down the line". Imaginary purses are not worth much in the real world, even less than the 90/10 Oscar wanted as a roadblock.

The Wbc belt is worth a lot since Ggg then has 3 belts. Also emasculating Canelo is worth something, hed need to do something about it at some point or risk being a sideshow in his prime years

I just explained why Canelo is so much worse. He's got a fraction of their accomplishments, no size disadvantage, carries the lineal belt Mw yet wants a CW lower than any of those midgets would attempt many divisions above their first belt. Don't bring up those guys to defend this chump

Look at those guys accomplishes at age 25 and then compare to canelos he is very much in their leagues. And Canelo has never weighed more then 155 ever! He turned pro weighing 139 and was fighting at 147 at age 20. Saying he is a real middleweight when he's never weighed more then 1 pound over junior middleweight and based on his last fight weighin and his 30 day weight for next fight he has no problem making 155 and could sweat that last pound off if he wanted to for a 154 title. This is his weight if you want a mega fight with him come to his weight. If you only care about the belt then you dont need to drop a single pound jusr stop taking step asides and Canelo will show you how little he cares about the title. No belt is going to help you at the negotiation table against canelo. You either fight on his terms or you don't get the fight.

And you can add Phony GGG to that list because he demanded a catch weight against ward minus him actually winning titles at multiple weights or proving himself to be a ppv draw lol
