Wait a minutes, was it a duck when HBO and K2 offered Ward a fight and he turned it down.

And Ward didn't even offer to fight GGG right away, he wanted GGG to sign a contract with an even split, but then the fight would take place in 18 months. How is that a serious offer?

Ward probably figured GGG was lined up to start getting major play, and wanted to at least get his 50/50 now. But Ward had no intention of fighting GGG until Fall of 2016.

K2 told him maybe early 2017, a fact both camps agree on.

So how the **** is it a duck if they've offered him a fight, gets turned down. The Ward waits until GGG is lined up to get his unification belts,a goal he's publicaly stated since 2012.

That's not a duck, that's a I'm busy now, and no I ****ing won't lock myself to you for 50/50 a full year and a half before the fight. But in 2017, let's get it on. Ward doesn't want it then, why. Because it will be 70/30 with GGG popularity. Ward doesn't want to get ****ing blasted by Golovkin for 30 split.

Whose ducking who. GGG says yes both times, Ward now says never.
Why is it a duck , no need for the long winded he said she said routine its very simple !

Because he pulled the 164 out of his ass !

I actually think Canelo could give a good account of himself, even in a loss. But 168 is mostly Haymon guys so he's willing to roll the dice and throw his guy in there with GGG

GGG would be favored. But, I think people are really selling Canelo a lil short. Or maybe selling GGG a lil long. Canelo is just as skilled. Canelo has by far the quicker hands. Canelo is better defensively. The only unquestioned edge GGG has is power. And Canelo doesn't exactly hit like a flyweight. What also is going almost completely ignored is that Canelo has fought by far the better competition. GGG will be in with by far the best fighter he's fought. The same can't be said visa versa.

Dude and a couple more of these clowns will never admit Team GGG didn't wanna fight Ward. Even though its common knowledge within the boxing community. Even if Ward wanted it in the fall of 2016. Guess what. We're a couple months away from the fall of 2016. And all GGG has to look forward to is fighting a European bum or cancer patient that was dropped by Sergio flip'n Mora. Meanwhile Ward is fighting a much stiffer test than GGG would have offered him.

Get ol Arum throwing his 2 cents in.

When this fight gets made GGG will probably open up as the favorite. But make no mistake this will be a competitive fight.

Canelo might not be as complete a fighter as GGG but hes still has very good skills.

I would say power, and overall offensive skill I would favor GGG. But speed, and defense I would favor Canelo.

Theirs no way this is a massacre.
