Breazeale is better because he beat hardcore mansoir and made him retire on his stool like homie did ortiz.

Martin, Parker/Takam and Duhaupas would be a solid year for AJ imo.
parker or takam will have to face pulev or chisora before they become the mandatory, so that won't be until 2017

however, if chisora pulls off the upset against pulev then i think hearn will let him skip the final eliminator and have a crack at AJ in the fall

i think joshua will only fight four times this year if chisora beats pulev and/or they can't get a super fight (fury or haye) to end the year

We're probably arguing about nothing since I do think Breazeale may be a better fighter (due to his heart) but from a technical standpoint I doubt it.
Martin is a better boxer against who? A few nobodies breazeale out boxed agullira and stopped him.

Breazeale has fought better competition & whether you were impressed or not he was tested vs formable foes.

Martin fought nobody was a unknown until he got a fluke title shot and became a laughable champion.

Breazeale is a really big guy who fights like a small mexican which isnt good for a ex quarterback that started boxing late.

I guarantee you fred cassi and mansoir would destroy martin he's garbage...

Jennings would have been a great choice semi durable, not an heavy or concussive puncher. The guy isn't really dangerous with his punches but I suppose he could have been viewed as too dangerous given his experience in conparison to AJ, Jennings is certainly more dangerous than he is given credit for and would have been a better choice than Stiverne, not that I would be disappointed with either for Joshua's next fight, even Szpilka at this stage.

Breazeale is probably better than Martin, but he is tailor made for Joshua. He has no head movement at all, pair this with his atrocious defense and lazy jab and he will probably knocked out before round 4

Breazeale is all around solid and not as slow as ppl think when he lets his hands go, add in the reach factor ,speed becomes less relevant if hes going shorter distances with the punches . However he is a slow starter and likes to use his size to out his opponents . With Joshua its not going to work since Joshua is not that much smaller in reach and physically is way to much for him. Its also a strategic move on Joshua, fight the guy not only with an undefeated record but fight a taller guy who resembles a klitchko /Fury type fighter length wise because that's the match most likely to happen soon. He's releativley heavy handed and accurate with holes in his defense.I like AJ by rnd 4.I think he may coast a few rounds to get the feel of a 6'7/6'8 guy in there then drop the bomb. Stiverne was probably the better match here but if I was gunning for Fury I would pick this opponent as well.

I think Breazeale is a much more seasoned fighter than Whyte or Martin, the two times he didn't look so great were too southpaws and a 40 something year old he didn't take serious. Either way I cant see AJ losing this one.

Breazeale is way better than Martin. Martin fights like a rank amateur.

Breazeale hasn't shown me anything to prove he is a big risk to Joshua.

The question is how many fights is he allowed before he starts facing his mandatories?

the two times he didn't look so great happen to be the two times he fought anyone worth a damn. kassi was robbed and the mansour win was almost as lucky as martin's glazkov win

he just looks awful to me. totally uncoordinated and ineffectual. joshua is going to ragdoll him
