Breazeale may lose but he was on his way to stopping hardcore even without the socalled freak accident.
Breazeale was responsible for that socalled freak accident with that massive uppercut.
Hardcore was on his way out and tried his hardest to get breazeale out of there and couldn't.
Give breazeale props he has alot of heart very diligent with his offense and fought a top 10 guy at 16 & 0 he was moved fast.
Dudes mentioning molina as a better opponent dude was knocked out by arreola in 2 rounds.
Fred kassi is a very awkward & tricky fighter who made areolla look even worse than breazeale did against him
Breazeale earned his title shot and should be respected and he is a hell of alot better than martin and he has a better resume than joshoa.
I agree with everything except for the bold part. Breazeale clearly has terrible skills... He may punch harder than Martin and seems to have a lot more heart but skill wise I don't see how he's better than Martin. We're probably arguing about nothing since I do think Breazeale may be a better fighter (due to his heart) but from a technical standpoint I doubt it.
I'd actually pick Duhaupas to beat Breazeale. He was lucky Mansour suffered a ripped tongue and couldnt continue cause he was losing that fight. AJ should win this fight easily.
A fight against Duhaupas would've been better and try to finish him in much better fashion than Wilder did.
Maybe he'll face Duhaupas to close out the year after he's faced the Parker/Takam winner.
Martin, Parker/Takam and Duhaupas would be a solid year for AJ imo.
Breazeale is definitely getting mugged by Joshua. It is an interesting question who is better Martin or Breazeale, but it doesn't really matter neither is close to being good enough to take it to Joshua.
Does anybody actually think this is a good fight? Not even close to PPV in my opinion.
The co headline is a good solid competitive match up and the winner versus Smith as a main event is PPV worthy. Smith is one of the best prospects to come out of the UK in years, time will tell but I suspect he'll be the best super middle around for a long time, I expect he'll be ruling the division and likely hand GGG his first loss.
On topic the main event is a dud and will be less competitive than this Saturday gone's affair between GGG and Wade. Its a dier match up, the fact Molina and Duhaupas were available and are proven durable competitors when AJ needs rounds before facing the likes of Klitschko and Wildrr make it all the more laughable.
