Breazeale has a couple ok wins so wont complain too much, but he looks painfully slow to me, and without the timing and skill needed to offset a lack of speed. I think Joshua tears him up pretty quick, similar to Cornish but with a few extra rounds tagged on the end. Imo similar to Wlad, Joshua is always going to have the advantage over big guys who are just big.

Would have preffered Stiverne. This is ok for a quick turn around fight

Who should he have fought instead?

Oh god....ANOTHER 2 round fight. This is the bullsh.t about boxing...you have to wait several months to see these guys fight just for it to end in 2 rounds. What happened to Joshua wanting to choose someone who they believe would give him some rounds???????????!!!!!

Honestly, I would rather see Johann Duhaupas (sp?) get a shot...

AJ & his camp will play like this. However let see that what did Joshua do this time & for his IBF belt defense.

I would've preferred Molina. I don't think much of Breazeale.

This seemed like the most likely fight once Bermane wasn't in play cuz the IBF deemed him unrankable. I like this fight.

Duhaupas might have given Joshua rounds, I doubt Breazeale will. He looks like the American version of Gary Cornish, a big stiff idiot with a nice record to use on the promotion.

Best fight from Eddie Hearns perspective though. It's an easy fight, captures a bit of the American audience and will likely be another 1 round job which he can hype to the max. AJ would have learned more from going a few rounds though, but to be fair the IBF top 15 options aren't great right now.
