WBC created this whole mess! When Cotto vacated, the belt should have went to GGG. Why did they give it to Canelo, in a fight fought @ 155? GGG will soon have the belt, he just won't get the fight and the paycheck, unless he's willing to aceept a catch-weight. GGG insists he's not "business man" so I guess we won't see this fight until 2017 or later.

I love the denseness Sulaiman is pretending to have about Canelo avoiding the GGG fight until now like it hasn't been going on by Cotto before Canelo & by Canelo since he beat Cotto. No one wants to fight GGG except mfers outside of his weight division & I suspect if GGG moved to their weight division & had a couple fights they might change their minds to. The money doesn't surpass the risk like it does for most fights so GGG isn't getting a big fight til someone with something to prove wants to fight him.

If the WBC is legit looking to crack the whip they need to get a confirmation this fight will be made or strip Canelo before Khan somehow. Not sure how they legit get confirm this, but if they can work some angle they should. I think the allure of $300k in sanctioning fees will not make that happen & I still question that happening post Khan as Canelo is a guaranteed $600k a year for the WBC. If he doesn't have the title he has now he'll have some WBC title.

Awesome. Give GGG his precious belt. Then Canelo can go on and fight in big event after big event. While GGG and all his dumbass supporters circle jerk each other with him beating the Wade's of the world, calling out smaller guys, and ducking bigger guys.
