No as one poster already pointed out, the WBC will make Canelo a 'Champion Emeritus' or 'Diamond Champion' so that he can keep a belt and they can keep their fees. They did it to Sergio Martinez so that Chavez Jr could fight for the title w/o having to fight Sergio (Zbik was elevated from interim to full champ before facing Chavez).

But once the WBC does that, it would put the GGG mandatory status on hold and the WBA would then enforce the Jacobs mandatory.

thats expected from the wbc, and is ****** that they can forfeit a fighter's mandatory rights that easy but it is what it is, canelo is a b1tch to me until he fights ggg

I just want to make my opinion clear, Jacob is a meh fighter.

But this is hilarious, as soon as Jacobs KO Quilin, all the anti GGG squad was saying, "GGG dont want that work doe"; " GGG is going to duck Jacobs"and all that. Now that the fight could happen, they are saying " Jacobs isnt that good", and after the fights ends...." Jacobs another BUM"; "Jacobs best win was a drained Quilin".

This sh.it is getting old.

I hope Jacobs don't ask for two millions or something like that which he doesn't deserve.
