In your 1st paragraph, you insinuated that Golovkin would be INSANE to allow Ward 1 tuneup before they fight..... despite the fact that Kovalev allowed Ward TWO tuneups, no problem at all..... AND despite the fact that would mean Golovkin/Ward would be NEXT and scheduled in for August.



WTF is wrong with that ?

..... well, a couple of weeks ago, when RadioRaheem asked Sanchez why they were happy to fight other guys at 168 but not Andre Ward, Sanchez stated that they would only go to 168 for a HUGE money fight, like Froch in front of 80,000 fans at Wembley......

..... and yet in your 3rd paragraph, you tried to justify selecting Ramirez.

You can't tell me Ramirez is a HUGE draw who brings in 80,000 fans.

You can't tell me that Ramirez would bring as much money as Ward.

Kovalev can afford to be indulgent with Ward because, if you stop and think about it, he isn't being asked to do ANYTHING AT ALL himself, just carry on with his career as if Ward didn't exist and maybe there might be a big fight for him at the end of it. If not, so what? It's all been some free and much needed publicity for him.

Golovkin, on the other hand, was being asked to sign a contract agreeing to move up to 168, when WARD WAS READY, and that contract covered the same time frame as the one he already signed with the WBC, to fight for their MW title.

Loeffler made it clear that Golovkin's focus in 2016 was going to be on unifying the MW division, and told Ward to come back in 2017 and he might get a different answer.

Only a biased hater would fault GGG and K2 over this.
