I thought the Knockdown was questionable it looked like a glancing blow. The second one he was hit by the uppercut and went down from the shoulder shot. He didn't want to contiune the ref sort of forced him. The final KD he did take a shot. At that point he had put up enough of a show, no way he was getting up.

Yes it was a paycheck and no he was not intending to take a beating to get it.
