Wilder is not stronger than Povetkin so that strategy won't work.

Deontay needs to keep the action in the center of the ring and not back up. Also, he needs to Keep Povetkin on the outside, by keeping him at arms length and at the end of his reach, in order to get his punches off first. Then lastly, he must clinch and tie up Povetkin each and every time he gets too close on the inside.

but povetkin doesn't really wrestle/trip guys or put his stockier physique to very much use

he's a very clean crisp boxer, it's almost a weakness

he could definitely benefit from a weak or two picking up tricks from hopkins/ward/salido/etc for this fight if wilder plans on doing what wlad did

Won´t work. Povetkin is very strong and Wilder is easy to hit. Wilder is not Klitschko. Wilder was hurt against Duhaupass and Molina, you can just imagine what can Povetkin do to him. That could be a KO in early rounds.

All of those guys are bigger than Povetkin... And Wilder is a very physically strong fighter...there is no certainty that Povetkin will be the stronger man...especially since Wilder is gaining weight.

Its your own fault if you put too much faith onto a belt

The belt never makes a fighter.
