What I mean by this is who is the most skilled at clowning and trolling EFFECTIVELY in the ring. I'm not talking about boxers who showboat pointlessly like Broner in my opinion, or that club fighter from a few years ago who was all "Come at me bro!" in the ring, and actually got ktfo I'm talking about boxers who troll and then win or completely embarrass/infuriate their opponent.
My Honorable Mentions:
Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Whether answering questions and interacting with the broadcast team in the middle of a ****ing round (Bruseles fight being the best in my opinion "The Patriots!"), making dudes look ****** by causing them to miss or hitting them with beautiful counters (watch a highlights package of the fight with Robert The Ghost Guerrero, some of that **** is pure comedy) or being so slick and evasive that boxers had to literally throw him into the corner to try and land a punch aka Carlos Baldomir, Floyd just had the uncanny ability to make dudes look so unbelievably ordinary in the ring with his skills, then take it even further with his facial expressions, an example like when he dodged a hook by Canelo who ended up murdering one of the ring ropes. The time Floyd took to put his hands on his hips, bend over slightly and look at that rope destroyed me when I saw it for the first time. One of my all time fav Floyd moments was against De La Hoya, when Oscar had him pinned against the ropes and unleashed a hellish barrage of desperation, spite and anger. Floyd shoulder rolled the living **** out of the barrage and when Oscar gassed, gave Oscar an almost God tier level troll face. Every time I rewatch the fight, I look forward to that particular moment so much.
Roy Jones Jr:
I feel as though I don't even need to type an essay for Roy. Whether he was using his ridiculous athleticism and speed to make guys look like garbage, landing power shots and then looking away and not even paying attention anymore, dancing, whatever, Roy was just a ridiculous troll. That knockout he scored again Glen Kelly makes me lose my **** without fail whenever I watch that fight. Trolling him with both arms behind his back, face and chin out, slipping and dodging every punch thrown, then destroying him with a hook FROM BEHIND HIS BACK! TROLL!
Julio Cesar Chavez Jr:
Enters the ring overweight, looks like absolute ****, gets hit way too much, wins the decision. If that isn't like God tier trolling, then I don't know what is fam.
Trolliest in ring troll I've ever seen: Prince Naseem Hamed.
God Lord in heaven... Naseem was the biggest sack of **** in the ring I've personally ever seen. Pyrotechnics, backflips, pelvic thrusts, dirty dancing, shaking his hips... goodness me, that dude would stick his chin out so far it would look like he was tryna pull in for a kiss, then jerk away so quickly, he'd leave an after image. He was as slippery as a used condom and abut as obnoxious and annoying as Tyson Fury is outside the ring. His torso, quick feet, boxing skills and always trolling face made him one of my absolute favourites, and the biggest in ring troll in my opinion.
