Two viewpoints. On one hand, Algieri should be thankful he made 325K coming off a loss as a B-side vs. Spence who made less than him. On the other hand, if a promoter is taking home 50% of the total pot, it's completely disproportional with what should be happening. Suddenly, a manager like Haymon who only takes 15% and doesn't require a promoter seems like a godsend.

My thought exactly! Sounds like they want Algieri to be a good little biatch. He says nothing seemed wrong when he spoke to him after the fight, may be because he was dwelling on getting his azz stopped by a prospect, something the #2 fighter of this generation, Pacquiao couldn't do.

Not to mention it is quite the deflection by mentioning how he ain't sh.it without them and the opportunities he got under their banner, which has absolutely no relevance to the matter at hand: disclosing the full amount paid for the bout. Also they didn't open the door for Algieri based on altruism as its a two way street.
