LOLwut. Of course you can fault the promoter. He's a piece of **** whos probably hustling more boxers then Algieri. Anyone on his roster should be looking into their own contracts with Joe DeGuardia.

Because the promoter would look out for number one (Himself), this is 2016 and this sh3t has been going on for at least 100 years now, if you are ****** enough to be taken advantage of after years and years of people grilling the same sh3t into boxers head then I don't blame the promoter, Algieri had a solicitor there with him and still sign away 50% to a promoter who was NOT involve in the promotion of a fight. How ****** can you get? If someone wants to throw away free money to a promoter in 2016 then I cannot fault that promoter for looking out for himself.

That seems like a horrible contract. He should know long before that.

has nothing to do with his contract, it has to do with the wording of the disclosure requirements in the Ali Act.

The Act only says the promoter must disclose any revenue received related to the fight. It doesnt say WHEN that disclosure must be made. In many instances the fighter doesnt get their Ali disclosure until after the fight is over and they sign for their check.....
