Golovkin has called out Floyd in 2013, the same year Canelo fought him. Since then, both Floyd has talked **** and Golovkins team has talked ****. Let's not pretend that Golovkin started calling out a 40 year old Floyd after retirement.

They've said they're open to a CW fight with Canelo, after he drops the belt. So him not being open to it is plain false.

Froch is just talking crap. When the actual discussions were taking place, they were for 168.

Ward only at 164 is a lie. When Golovkin wanted to fight at 168, when he wasnt well known, Ward turned him down. When they started talking again in early 2015, Ward wanted multiple tune ups first, at 168, with 50/50. Golovkins team knew they has Cotto/Canelo possibility and couldn't make the commitment. The quote from Loeffler was "we offered 50/50 on weight and money, but they said they wanted tune ups."

Ward never wanted this fight seriously and acted like an *******, hence Golovkin said "as a man, you're dead to me".
A middleweight calling out a welterweight is never anything but garbage. Still calling him out when he's 40 years old and retired just makes it worse.

I'm not going to buy the Golovkin camp stories on the Ward fight, far too many contradictions and changing stories. Ward wanted that fight, they didn't.

I find it hard to believe that Ward, Froch and Lara are all telling lies, but known bull5hitters in Sanchez and Loeffler are telling the truth.

So, who's fault will it be if they strip Candela? Lil g for not dropping to 155 pounds to fight for the 160 pound title when the rules say he does have to or Candela for trying to break the rules and forcing another 160 pound champ to fight for a 160 pound belt at 155 pounds?

Ward = 172 (should have been 168 but he was too big to make the weight)

        "Lil G" = 160 pounds

        168 (If Ward was a legit SMW boxer) - 160 = 8 pounds

        8 pounds / 2 = 4 pounds

        "Lil G": 160 + 4 = 164 pounds

        Ward: 168 - 4 = 164 pounds

As you can see, a fight at 164 was more than fair to both parties but Ward refused. So you tell me who really didn't want the fight?

Rather than criticizing the absurdity of the lineal/WBC middleweight title holder making the demands in the first place.
All lilg & his team gotta do is strip him of the title.

You have a problem with the callout even when the WW insists the MW would be easy work? I'm sure if you were GGG you'd have said, "You know what? Floyd's right..Forget about it."

Yeah Ward wanted the fight on his terms. One fight in 2 years on BET in front of 300k and he wants GGG to lock himself into a year long commitment to split even money and give Ward a 10lb weight advantage. 164 was thrown out casually in an email interview. It was basically and FU to a guy who did next to nothing for 2 years and wanted to cash in on Gennady's work. They were on to bigger and better things. Would you have signed the contract?

Who's accusing Ward, Froch or Lara of lies? GGG would sign in a second to fight Froch in his backyard. Ward had years to pursue the fight and sent a lousy offer that was rejected immediately for obvious reasons. Lara's all tweet no action.

Floyd said 'GGG is easy work'. GGG said 'prove it'. How is that calling out?

Sometimes I don't know why I argue with some people on these boards, they don't read what they reply to, have no facts to back them up, and just keep regurgitating the same thing over and over and over.

                Bye.

He did get a Title fight plus 800 Grand from Cotto... Golden Boy gave GGG their newest World Champion Lemieux and his IBF Title as a VOLUNTARY in exchange for GGG stepping aside as the MANDATORY and allowing Cotto vs Canelo... Of course that Golden Boy deal is off the books...
