All actual boxing fans want to see the fight but Golovkin is damned if he does damned if he doesn't to the NSB crowd. It's his fault for not getting Canelo stripped. Now if he strips Canelo it's his fault for not giving into his demands and his his fault for not fighting at 155. And so on. Rather than criticizing the absurdity of the lineal/WBC middleweight title holder making the demands in the first place.

Canelo has to vacate, then get a belt at 154... GGG might fight him for that belt at 154, not for the belts at 160.

Dude, Canelo is middleweight champion and Golovkin is mandatory. It's very simple. He's not Floyd Mayweather (who fights at 147-154). Floyd Mayweather is the greatest in this era and obviously it would be a very special opportunity so if Golovkin has to kill himself to make 154, not many people would pass that opportunity. Canelo is fighting at middleweight, is the middleweight champion and has a mandatory due in Golovkin. It's just basic common sense. At worst, make it at 158 pounds. Absolutely no need for a mandatory to have to go to down to 155 it's absolutely absurd and you know it.

so many fighters concede to become a star....Canelo is the star....I could see if he was a lard azz....GGG can make 155....hell he was 160 a month ago....5 pounds in a month is nothing.

I wrestled in high school and boxed in my 20s....Ive had to lose 5 pounds in less than a week and sometimes 2-3 days....IJS
