Sounds great. Interesting why this fight is not on the WEST coast? Strange to put this in NY when you could of either put it WEST coast for LSC's mexican fans or Boston for Irish fans. Jacobs did not draw well his last fight at Barclays should lean on Leo's heavy Mexican crowd. There is like no rhyme or reason to where these PBC fights end up. Another example is Porter/Broner being in Vegas when both are from Ohio and have a lot of fans there. Could of gotten better crowd and fanfare putting it in Ohio during the time the NBA Finals were going on with the Cleveland Cavs.

How does the NYC angle help Frampton? I'm legit not hip to that.

What I don't get is all these people saying "sign with Haymon, he be keeping his fighters more active doe!" Yet examples like this where Jacobs will have been out of the ring one week shy of 8 months and we saw what happened to poor porter and thurman, even if thurman wouldn't have got hurt it would have been 9 months. What is going on with these inactive fighters???!! hard to get any momentum.
Eh, largely he does keep cats active. You can cherry pick examples with any entity in boxing. And I mean a lot of that is on the fighter too I imagine. Idk whats up with Jacobs off the top of my head, but Thurman allegedly/is rumored to have an overbearing GF who's effing up his trajectory lately. Good ***** will f#ck up a career quicker than any promoter.

There are momentum issues, but I think thats more about PBC's throw pasta on the wall method of putting out its product & these weird places some of these fights end up in. Its gotten better I feel, but you only got so much time to make a first impression & I think PBC's got wasted with bad decisions.

Only problem is this would be a showtime card.

Lets not forget BJS almost took out Lee & I think there is a solid argument he could of if he'd not coasted after he had Lee hurt. Not a dumb decision with Lee's feral cat in a corner level of danger when hurt, but Jacobs gots that ****** power. I think someone is probably getting KO'd here & I'd lean towards Lee. No UD's in this one I don't think.

That's a really fun card. Jacobs and Lee can both be taken out at any moment and LSC always comes to fight. Should sell well too considering the Irish contingent in NY and Jacobs.
