"as soon as canelo beats ggg..." C'mon it's boxing anything is possible but first you have to agree to get in the ring. I'm going to check back with you two weeks after the Canelo Khan fight. We'll see what new information we learn.
BTW, I like both Canelo and GGG. I'm a fan of boxing not a fanboy. I find it ridiculous when fanboys take indefensible positions just because they love a particular boxer. What would you say if GGG had the best fighter at MW calling him out?
PS. If Lara's last name was Mayweather, Canelo would have lost by UD. But that's a completely different story.

This seems like a minor thing to you. You seem to think that this is something that could easily be overlooked. Let's not focus on that, right. Lets turn the table and bash the MW champion calling him out, making'em look bad. Give me a break!
When the Champion calls you out you either step-up or shut-up. And the Champion calling you out doesn't make him a hero. Those were your words. It simply makes him the undisputed champion. I hope they use the threat of belt stripping to at least force him to sign a contract to face GGG next May '17.
If the Khan rematch doesn't end up making sense I'm interested in what direction Canelo goes. Who do you think he could fight next without looking like a coward?
May 2017 ?
LMFAO
Oh my god are you fkn serious, you want to give Canelo another year ?
Come on man, why doesn't that fkn hypejob just fight the kid ?
Golovkin said that he can do it..... what's with all the excuses now ?
What happened to that " anyone from 154-168 " crap ?
Just prior to Ward resuming his career, they said that Gennady can beat anyone at 168..... and immediately following the Lemieux fight, they said that he can beat anyone at 154.
Team Bull**** need to stop hyping Golovkin, and actually allow the guy to attempt to carve a legacy for himself.
At this stage, it seems highly unlikely that he will ever fight a top opponent..... all we get is talk, then excuses.

He can fight Beefy Smith in the UK, rematch Cotto, boo-boo, J-Rock, the Charlo's..... but the best of all..... Kell Brook, who would love nothing more than to 1-up Amir Khan.
He could also fight Saunders, who would likely agree to a catchweight.
Then, who would Golovkin fight next ?
You are making out like Canelo has no options, but in fact he has a great resume, and loads of options..... and yet, what other options does Golovkin have?
Saunders/Jacobs are unlikely to fight Golovkin, K2 are notoriously difficult to negotiate with, and BOTH of those guys would prefer a less-risky fight that is much more financially rewarding than Golovkin.
BOTH Saunders/Jacobs are more likely to face Canelo than face Golovkin.
I 100% disagree with you, the opposite is true.

Well, he had the best SMW calling him out, but he suddenly rediscovered his interest in middleweight and slinked back to 160..... only to re-emerge at 168 calling out Gilberto fkn Ramirez after Ward moved to 175.
GGG has done nothing even remotely close to what his PR team stated.
In fact, they have done the exact opposite.

Thank you for making my point. You said we disagree but we are in complete agreement. You said it yourself but with a minor correction needed. Not just "both" but ALL the B fighters you mentioned that could fight Canelo next could also fight GGG but "those guys would prefer a less-risky fight" with Canelo. So yes I AGREE if Canelo calls any of them out they'll jump at the opportunity regardless of the conditions. Most will avoid GGG like the Bubonic plague. Also for anybody that fights at 160 there is no more financially rewarding fight than GGG. Is that opinion or fact? It's fact my friend, it's just tough to swallow. My question was who could Canelo fight next without looking like a coward. Not if he had options. But thank you for falling into my trap.
I don't actually believe that Canelo is a coward or in any way afraid of GGG. I think he is smart in avoiding GGG. He doesn't need GGG. He has the Mexican fans, he is the money cow. But avoiding GGG will tarnish his career with a lot of his Mexican fans. That's my only point. On the other hand not fighting GGG could still get all those same fans to support him financially while they silently begrudge him for ducking GGG.
About resumes. Fighters don't build resumes by themselves. How much credit do you give Canelo for Mayweather giving him an opportunity to chase him in the ring? That fight was meaningless but big $$$. I do give Canelo credit for taking a risky fight with Cotto but Cotto gets just as much credit for that fight and it was a close fight. After that fight there are a bunch of B fighters and not much more than that. The thing is that when you're the cash cow, you can get away with saying whatever you want... and your resume is automatically much better just because you're the cash cow. You can create your own weight division, you can play the spin everything game. Who would want to risk all that power? I don't blame him. But I can take a step back and see the full picture. Fanboys like you cannot.

In two or three years GGG might be at 168/175 when that happens lets talk about Ward, Ramirez etc for now you can talk about Ward and GGG all you want there is really nothing to say about that unless you insist on protecting Canelo.

Aah, middleweight..... right ^^
But, then why did they mention Ramirez ABOUT A WEEK AGO ?

Because, Canelo is a JMW..... right ?
That is what you just said..... right ?

You are just talking rubbish now.
The fact is, he could have fought Ward, but chose not to.
Just like he could fight Canelo, but will likely choose not to.
You build a resume by sacking up and daring to be great..... you do not build a resume by making weak excuses.
