I agree, but if Canelo chooses not to fight then I have no sympathy for Golovkin. He and his team went about the Ward situation like women and robbed me of a fight I wanted to see. A fight better than GGG/Canelo.

Team GGG: "Canelo and Cotto won't fight us! We scare them! We have to find willing opponents to fight us because we believe and know Caenlo and Cotto will not Fight us!"

      Team Ward: "We'll fight you"

Team GGG: "No! We are waiting on the guy's that we know will not fight us, to fight us, and you might as well move up in weight because we aren't budging until we get Canelo or Cotto in the ring, even though we know it will not happen and have stated several times we don't believe they'll fight us!"

Saying Ward ducked Bute is the same as saying Floyd ducked Khan. It's a big money fight but everybody in the world knows those guys arent competition.

GGG's not going to be asking for sympathy from anyone if Canelo vacates. He'll take the belt and move onto Saunders, Jacobs, etc...Canelo will happen when Canelo feels he's ready.

I'd love to see GGG/Ward, too. But when was that going to happen? Ward wasn't ready to fight and GGG wasn't about to commit himself to a long term contract that gave Ward a 50/50 split and a 10lb. weight advantage.

10 Pounds? 160 to 168? I'm confused Golovkin fan, enlighten me Golovkin fan. Ward is clearly a better fighter than Lemiux, Canelo, Saunders and Jacobs. So tell me why not go for the fight if you still can fight Lemuix for his title on PPV and still make 2 Million against Ward? I'm not going to call Golovkin a duck, Ward was at 168, GGG at 160. But the 164 offer, the excuses, the willingness to move up in weight for lesser opponents, it was all just very womanly to me. Why couldn't he just say "Yes, at one point I called out fighters from 154-168, I feel differently now and do not want to fight Ward at this point in my career"? Much easier, less scrutiny.

10lbs+ fight night. 50/50 and a years commitment to give up that size advantage to guy who'd just fought to 300k viewers on BET is rich when you're the bigger draw and mando to Cotto/Canelo.

What's confusing? Ward hadn't fought at 168 in almost 2 years when he offered the fight. GGG makes 160 very comfortably often weighing in at 159. He walks around just over 170. Why couldn't Ward accept 164? Because he'd struggle to make 168 and even said so. So you have one guy who's a natural MW facing a LHW struggling to make 168. I'd say a 10lb weight difference in the ring would be a conservative guess. GGG is not going to be bulking up for a one shot fight at SMW. He will be clearly outweighed by any super middle until he commits to moving up.

Sure Ward's not only a better fighter than the guys you've mentioned, he's also a much bigger fighter. But none of it matters because those guys have actually been fighting, Ward wasn't...

Why don't you pitch me the fight? I'll be GGG. I've just signed the contract for the Lemieux PPV with the Cotto/Canelo winner on deck as I'm the mandatory. You're my management team and you've just gotten the Ward offer. Pitch it to me and convince me it's an offer I can't pass up....

Kovo got his shot by being given a shot by a top tier fighter. Had Jotto fought GGG like he was supposed to or Can't-Nelo fight him now he would beat their azzes and become a star but both ducked or are du King him
How did cotto or canelo ducked him.

Canelo moved up to 160 to fighit th biggest draw cotto. Cotto moved up to beat Sergio martinez. Cotto so called duck GGG so he can fight a greater fighter in canelo. Basically canelo ans cotto has far more option than GGG and actually an option for floyd last fight. Both fighter are in their 3rd and 4th weight class and has far superior resume than GGG. GGG is too ***** to move up in weight and has been pro for 10 years. Dude resume is worst than Lomenchenko and that dude has about 5 fights.

Everybody is trying to fight Cotto, khan and canelo because they are the biggest draw in boxing since both floyd and pacquaio retired.

If GGG stop ducking those high risk low reward fighters and actually fighting them to improve his resume that maybe he would actually get respect from other fighter. These ggg fans gets mad at ward, but they don't realize Ward is another fighters that everybody in his weight class ducked. His resume is good now because he fought in the super middleweight tourney when nobody knew how good he was. After that he had trouble getting fights. So instead of waiting around he moved up in weight to fight Kovalev later on this year.

Well, who's the bigger draw this time around genius ?

So, Golovkin will be chewing lettuce for the bigger draw, right ?
