Everyone keeps talking about Ward being bitter and salty. Of course he's bitter and salty. GGG is likely the biggest fight and best payday available to Ward. Combine that with it being against complete hypejob that he'd humiliate. Anybody would be bitter. Everybody likes easy money.

You have to be pretty naive if you don't think Lara is going to demand a lot of money to face Golovkin. If he's getting $1M to blow out welterweights like Zaveck, he's not going to move up to MW and go over to HBO to fight their top guy for just $1M. It's obvious that he'll demand more, you have to be an idiot to think otherwise. It'll be an unreasonable number because the fight isn't going to be on HBO PPV, it'll just be a HBO BAD. That's likely why they haven't even sent an offer to K2. The fight can be made... the question is, will Lara accept what he's really worth? My guess is no.

Another question would be, what incentive does HBO have to sign off on it considering Lara's performance against Canelo? Does anyone who paid for that fight think they got their money's worth? Lara brings no belt, no fans, and no entertainment. HBO is in the entertainment business.

Yes, I'm sure Ward took a look at the 125k buys from triple Vs ppv and was really itching to get a piece of the pie.

That 125k is infinitely more than any of wards ppvs.
