You had years to try to make a fight happen! You did nothing but fight one scrub. You tried to get the fight when GGG had signed on for Lemieux and had the Cotto/Canelo winner on deck. 50/50 at your weight when you didn't put in the work. GGG would've been ****** to lock himself into a long term contract with you.

To all the idiots who are going to come on here claiming GGG ducked, let's play a little game. I'll be GGG, and you're my management team. It's the day after we've signed to fight Lemieux on PPV and you come to me with the Ward offer in your hands. Try to convince me it's a deal I can't pass up. Let's see if the run of the conversation lasts more than 36 minutes here...

This guy is as obsessed with Golovkin as Malignaggi is with Pacquiao.

When Floyd offered Manny $40 mil (no ppv) it was his biggest payday ever by more than 25%. You said it was ok for Manny to refuse and blamed the offer.

When BJS turned down GGG, you criticized BJS for turning down the most money he was ever offered and then you called him a coward.

When GGG turned down Ward for what would've been his biggest payday to date you criticize Ward but not GGG.

        Why the different standards?

Dude, I said on paper. Meaning if you read GGG's and Saul's resumes next to each other, Saul's will always be more impressive. I don't like either of them, but facts are facts. GGG's been fighting dudes who have to take time off from hauling cargo at the docks part time while Saul has fought fighters like Mayweather and Cotto. No matter how much to try to discredit the bigger fights Saul has had, the fact remains, he's fought the better opposition.

Was there some spite in his words? Sure. But as a professional boxer, I'm certain Ward meant what he said, because despite when and how he fought those names, he still fought them.

Very petty comments from a supposed classy guy.
Really, how so? Ward's response was more respectful than just about anything Abel ever says.

This guy is as obsessed with Golovkin as Malignaggi is with Pacquiao.
I'm tired of hearing comments from both camps to be honest. They're never going to fight each other so I don't really want to hear them continue with the back and forth.

The media should move on and stop asking those types of questionings......
