I think Canelo will use the same tactic Cotto used on him because it made him fight Kirkland and Cotto fighting Geale which is smart to build the fight up but I see this fight happening in Sept

but the problem is that Golovkin wants Floyd at 154 but not Canelo when Floyd is a bigger star than both and it's like you can come down for Canelo too if you're willing to for Floyd same rules apply to facing Ward he could easily move up to 168 for and not Chavez Froch or Ramierez that's contradiction because it's not about Canelo's walking around weight it's the fact that he is won that belt from someone who isn't a Middleweight and he has been fight at 154 for how long now

but answer this who was saying Canelo should move up before he beat Cotto no one now me personally I think Canelo needs to face the Charlo twins Williams or Andrade before Golovkin

Canelo will fight any 135 to 147 pounders he wants at 155, Figueroa included...
He gets stripped and has all the time in the world... cose he's young, doe... and he ain't ready for top middleweights, especially for Golovkin.

They will 100% give up pounds. But they're not going to give them up before they get to the negotiating table. They want to get paid for them. Same goes for Canelo.

Oscar won't rush Canelo till Golovkin turns 40 y/o. BJS is not a big name but I reckon him as the best challenger for GGG @ 160 lbs.

I understand GGG wants a big payday but f@ck the hype and Canelo.

GGG should fight Jacobs, would be a unification fight.

Where is Jacobs what's next for him?

Why nobody talks about that fight.

This is the best fight that can be made at 160.

For a payday maybe GGG can try get Cotto.

That's a middleweight title, Cotto beat Martinez, a middleweight.

So it's Golovkin moving up or down, nobody coming at his weight??

                Not really fair...

Making 155 would hurt more his body than his pride.

Asking GGG to come down to 155 is just a ridiculous demande.

At least they should say 157, a between 154 and 160...
That's what Hopkins and DH did.

GGG was fighting at 75 Kg /165.4 pounds as an amateur.
If they never tried 154 as a pro or 153/69 Kg as a young amateur, that's for a reason.

Just like Ward probably couldn't make 160 being competitive.

He can't get Cotto, unless he wants to fight at a catch-weight. If that's the case he can fight Canelo! I don't know why Jacobs name doesn't come up? I hear more about Saunders than Jacobs. That would be a good fight!

Sounds good, until you repeatedly hear GGG calling out Floyd, and saying he would be willing to go to 154 for Floyd. So if going to 154 is not a problem, than 155 should be less of a problem!
