The reason is because Spence just attacked full bore until he stopped him, Algieri cannot punch so Errol just attacked him with relentless pressure giving his power no respect at all , Manny followed Algieri around and did not go all out for the stoppage he gave Chriss room to move and survive .
Yes. Manny fights from the outside all the time and didn't pressure him like Spence did. Spence hurt him and stayed on the attack and had no reason to respect his power. That shows a lot in an up and comer to keep going after his opponent like that. Very impressive.

He very well may continue fighting as a welterweight for years. As long as he makes weight he is doing nothing wrong. I'm a big Spence fan and don't think anybody in his weight class is going to beat him.
I 100% concur with everything you just put.

If Pacquiao was 4 inches taller which is what I think the height difference roughly is between him and Spence than I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have that hard of a time simply walking Algieri down like Spence did. Truth is Spence didn't cut off the ring the way some say he did. He simply had Algieri vastly outgunned and decided he could just simply chase after him. Manny is not the best example of cutting off the ring but if he tried to do what Spence did last week where he really just threw caution to the wind than he would have been getting tagged by Algieri pretty often because there is a huge height and reach difference that Spence didn't have to deal with. It's like Spence going against some that is say 6'2". I don't care if he is feather fisted or not he is going to have spend more time actually working his way in because he is going against someone much taller than him and he has to find a way to close that distance before throwing.

I can guarantee the first time Spence goes against either someone with a decent size advantage over him or with some good footwork you will see if he has flaws trying to cut the ring off. He hasn't had to cut the ring of yet so I'm not going to say whether he can or can't...just that he hasn't shown it against a live body.

Experts and fans have been saying Pacquiao couldn't cut off the ring way before he fought Algieri, it's not a new thing, it's one of his flaws.
how did Pac knocked algierri 5 times if he don't know how to cut the ring off?

          algierri was running all night.

Not cutting off the ring doesn't mean you can't land punches, cutting off the ring prevents opponents from running. That's why it's called cutting off the ring.

use some critical thinking. Pacquiao was scoring knockdowns from timing Algieri with his left hand. Most of them came in the middle of the ring. The problem is that after Algieri got up, Pacquiao couldn't track him down to finish him off.

Look at Sugar Ray Leonard vs Thomas Hearns. As soon as Leonard had Hearns hurt, he cut the ring on him, and unleashed a well placed combination to finish him off on the ropes. He didn't allow Hearns to just circle away and recover.

The size difference is what everyone is talking about. Manny is mature. He’s a much bigger person than he used to be. He’s not that skinny, 112-pound kid anymore. He weighs 152 pounds right now [a few weeks before the fight]. His body fat is six percent. He’s coming down to 147, not going up. He’s coming down, just like Oscar is. The biggest thing is, when someone goes up a weight class and fights and then comes back down to his original weight class, he usually has bad results. You see it in history. It happened to Roy Jones [who went from light heavyweight to heavyweight and back down]. Oscar will suffer to make 147; and I think he’ll be weaker as a result. I don’t think the bigger guy will be the stronger guy on Dec. 6. He’ll be taller, maybe a little heavier, but not stronger. Manny will be the bigger puncher, the faster puncher, the busier guy. Activity is my biggest thing. And Manny is better prepared for that. We fought four times this year. Oscar hasn’t fought four times in four years. I think speed and activity wins this fight, not size.

Algieri ran from Manny all night and still was knocked down six times. He tried to exchange with Spence.

                    Simple as that.
