    Donaire is why fighters duck

Went from 112 to 126 fighting the best along the way and loses to Rigo and Walters and can't get on American TV at 33 anymore. Boxing has turned losing into death.

ducking has been going on since before doniare existed as a human being.

if anything its guys like floyd jr. and andre ward who put so much pressure into being undefeated that it becomes their career.

fake retirements and multiple fight tune ups to move up a division in order to duck fighters and keep their precious O.

    as for donaire,

it all went downhill as soon as he got with that pan faced punani he calls his wife.

    check the timeline.

She look pretty good. I do think that even after Floyd's zero became a big deal a fighter could lose and still be on TV. When Donaire lost it did seem like they said oh well you're not allowed on HBO anymore.

Not just that, look at the fans. They clown him. Don't get me wrong, I've never been on team Donaire but the guy fought everyone, got beat up, got himself together and is still willing to fight anyone. I can't help but respect that.
Meanwhile, the fans want to back fighters they can feel good about (meaning; fighters they feel will win) so the networks and promoters aren't pushing anything compelling.

Glad to see Ward going after Kovalev, Crawford and Postol willing to face each other, and other down mutherfkrs willing to actually be boxers for a living and not just entertainers.

Is TruTV not American TV? I'm just saying it might not be HBO but it's American.

Unfortunately for Donaire 122lbs is a dead division. The division leader is ratings poison and Quigg and Frampton just put on one of the worst fights ever.

He did his best vs Rigo & Walters!

No shame in losing. HBO. Cut him off it seems!

Blame it on the boxers and promoters asking for too much money also. They're part of it too.

I don't know how much truth there is to this.
True he lost to Walters by destruction, but since then he hasn't exactly fought any name fighters that would warrant HBO or Showtime to pay for his fights.
