Boxing media does play favorites, but the favorites are usually fighters who stay active and try to fight the best available for the most part. That was Ward at one point but he disappeared for a long while and the new guys took his place.

Immediately after Spence knocked out Algieri they demanded Al force Garcia to fight him. But nobody questions why GGG hasn't fought either of his WBC mando's and they all were on the same network. Why not demand HBO make them fight?

The same members of the media who criticize Ward for not being active enough or other ****** reasons, didn't attend his fight against Barrera but will be a GGG's fight against Wade. Ward-Barrera was a way more meaningful fight than GGG-Wade. Ward moving up to 175 for the first time against a top 10 rated, undefeated, LHW. GGG fighting a guy even he admits he doesn't know much about.

Who Cares! With respect to Boxing Scene which I love and check daily but things have change when it comes to the "BOXING MEDIA" it is so many ways to get Boxing Information now that the Opinion these Boxing Media Writers is getting to a point in which it is just flat out Irrelevant.

Sorry but I don't go to ESPN for Boxing News so I don't even know what Fat Dan and guys like that are Writing unless somebody post it on this forum or talk about it on the YTBC
