Take what he says with a grain of salt. What would you expect someone to say about their boss in public??? GGG is paying him for his services. If he's says the wrong thing GGG will fire him and get someone else.

Yeah, I mentioned this possibility last time Deezol was bigging up GGG, but like I said I think Deezol comes across as a pretty straight shooter. Sure - they might not hire you again if you start talking **** about their star player, but I can't see 'em requiring you to sing his praises either. Deezol coulda said nothing or just said GGGs a really good fighter but he doesn't know who'd win or that the size difference could be too much. No-one's gonna fire his ass for that. Besides - whatever Boone's opinion let's not forget that the versions of both Ward and Kovalev he fought were still pretty raw in the pro ranks.

True! He could of said nothing. Man he's fought the best of the best. He might have a lot of losses but he's practically fought them ALL??? Did his promotor destroy him from ever being a star??? I like how they put him in with the best but they also killed his career of ever being nothing more than a stepping stone...

Deezol? A promoter? You gotta be kidding! He used to have his mates pick his fights for him! - He's taken on some of the best in the sport in 4 different weightclasses - usually at a coupla weeks notice and often without a trainer - and taken the 0s of more hot prospects than a lotta guys see in their whole career. And the kid only started boxing by accident when he was takin his kid brother to the gym.

Seriously if Deezol had been managed and trained properly I've no doubt at all he would have been at least a strapholder. Guys a frikkin legend.

He dropped Ward but I am pretty sure if he caught GGG clean with no head gear he would drop him too. Boone seems like a straight shooter but he is also employed by GGG right now.

It's a shame that Golovkin was too much of a businessman to get in the ring with Ward and prove it.

He would go to 168 for Froch, Chavez Jr, Degale, and Gilberto Ramirez. But Andre Ward didn't make financial sense.
