If he's not going to fight GGG now he should vacate. He can still campaign at MW and work his way towards that fight down the road, but you just don't hold the belt hostage if you're not going to defend it.

Canelo doesn't fight at 160. Why would anyone disown him because a group of Lil G fans trying to force him to fight at 160. He weighed in at 154.5 for Kirkland, and 155 for Cotto. Last time I checked it was 5 lbs removed from 160. Lil G can fight Matthew's or Maclin or Lee or some C tier fighter for a vacant title and his fans can have a circle jerk. That's their choice, no need to involve Canelo in that mess imo.
