Comments Thread For: DiBella Starting GoFundMe Account To Get Live Foe For Verdejo

New York, NY - Newly crowned NABF super featherweight champion Tevin Farmer has been closely following the career of Puerto Rico's Felix Verdejo for some time now. So when Farmer, who is promoted by Lou DiBella, read a recent article (http://www.boxingscene.com/felix-verdejos-trainer-not-pleased-with-recent-performance--103607) published on BoxingScene.com about the undefeated Verdejo, his manager and trainer Ricky Marquez, and his handlers, Top Rank, Farmer and his team came up with an idea.

Don't get me wrong. Verdejo doing well is good for the sport because Puerto Rican and Mexican fans are basically keeping the sport afloat right now. But I have a hard time believing nobody will fight this kid. He hasn't stepped up his competition because they don't feel he is ready yet.

I'd hate to say it but he seems to be regressing from fighting lower level competition.

WhyTF should the boxing community donate some money? If they want money, they should give us a share of the profits from the show. Fat chance that will happen.

They're trying to over compensate for how bad he has looked lately. They keep him fighting low level competition because he will get beat once he steps up at this point.

So Farmer's will to fight free of charge and have Dibella and Cipparone pay Farmer's purse out of pocket?

                Get that deal in writing!

Tevin Farmer, 25 years old, 21-4, 5 wins by KO, 2 losses by KO. Is this the correct Farmer?

Fighting him will just prove he is fighting low level fighters.

This is how you pull someone's card! I'm ranked #9, you can't find an opponent because of "budget issues," and i'll fight you for free! Make it happen!
