Eh. Was hoping for a better opponent. Not a bad guy really, but he's fought mostly at 168, won't have fought for a year by fight time & he's 23-0 in Argentina & 0-2 outside of Argentina & this fight will be outside of Argentina obviously. I guess with Beterbiev having been inactive for a year himself its understandable doe.
Should be a good enough fight (add in a solid guy for Erickson Lubin to be put in with and you've got good night of fights on ESPN).Comment

Not an utter no hoper, a seemingly rugged enough guy (standing up to Oouthuizen and Rodriguez's pop, two guys now fighting at 175, for twelve rounds isn't something to turn the nose up at), with the Argentina resume not really making sure how good he is either.

Ward (WBA/IBF/WBO 175 champ at this point) likely has the option to fight Braehmer (wba 175 champion and likely WBA mandatory challenger) as well.
Beterbiev becomes IBF mandatory (no different than Spence's current situation), and you can likely book a Ward-Beterbiev PPV for Fall/Winter 2017.Comment

I'll make sure to be home to watch another night of fights, while you continue to **** on the sport of boxing as an alleged "boxing fan".
The guy being brought in is a rugged guy, who's fought some guys with ability, and has yet to be blown out by anyone. If Beterbiev can get in there, after having his layoff, and blow the guy out, he would've done something that no one else had been able to do to Maderna.
