Comments Thread For: Scott Quigg Very Willing To Face Rigondeaux For a World Title

Scott Quigg (31-1-2, 23KOs) is looking to resume his career in a major way. In February he suffered his first career at the hands of domestic rival Carl Frampton, who walked away with the IBF/WBA super bantamweight world titles. Quigg suffered a broken jaw in the fight.

Scott is a warrior who would fight Rigo in a heartbeat. Unfortunately i suspect Hearn has plans of his own, and they won't involve Quigg being schooled by the Cuban.

Considering how tentative and unsure he was vs Frampton, I really don't want to see him against Rigo in a 12 round staring contest. Not writing him off as a fighter, but maybe best matched against aggressive types because against someone with ring IQ and good defence he looks out of his depth.

Oh now you want to fight him after you lose lose you "0" and belt. GTFOH he took that L now he wants to run around and collect checks by fighting the "name". Go back to fighting your low level opponents.

'I want to prove I'm the best.'

You had that chance in your last fight and got soundly outboxed. By probably the second best fighter in the division.

              Rigo would beat him 12-0.

I have Quigg being a serious threat to Rio with his punching power alone.

Quigg Frampton was rightly made before Rigo. Only an idiot would pass up a huge domestic fight like Quigg Frampton for a fight with less money and less interest.
