hes not too old hes too gun shy, he's lost his edge since he found out he's not invincable. If he goes into this fight with confidence and trains hard and is able to throw punches in the round instead of show boating this will be a typical easy victory for RJJ.

Roy should stay retired. What's the purpose of fighting? He ****** rich already and he lost his last 3 fights embarrasingly. There's no way he beats the top guys in the division anyways.

Roy Jones still has the drive to be the best but i dont think he has the physical skills , to help him be the best again.

very true he doesnt have what it takes to be the best anymore too many young good fighters out there and he's gun shy and you cant be the best when your gun shy plain and simple. Should he take the fight hell yeah he should if he can get in there and fight and people will watch it why not but I dont think he is going to be on top ever again thats not what I was saying by any means. But he does still have some left in his tank we just havent seen it in a while.

                  some guys can't quit

I thought Roy Jones Jr. was done after his last loss, but now he shows that he's determined to make us all forget what a rare athlete and great fighter that he once was. He's on a similar path that Sugar Ray Leonard took, fighting until he's so obviously washed-up that boxing fans start feeling sorry for him. I would consider it a mild upset if he even wins this fight.

is pretty good, but his record suggests that he's not a big puncher nor is he the slickest boxer around either. I've never seen him. He was very busy in 2004 with 5 fights that year. He's 34 years old having started his pro career at the age of 28, almost 29. I suppose that he's the right kind of guy for Jones to fight if he wants to continue his career but not take a big risk as far as his health is concerned.
