I guess it is also true that Floyd lacks fundamentals then
Whitaker prioritized inside fighting more no doubt but the two know how to operate on the inside, also we're discussing Pacquiao here why bring Mayweather into this? I'm not even saying Pacquiao is horrid at cutting off the ring, I'm saying he isn't very good at it and at times, pretty awful actually.

Isaac Clark did but he's an idiot and since he knows so much he can find it himself. I provide him a weight class and time period. I guess no time for a grown man that responds on a boxing site with emojis.

I just don't see how a site of suppose hardcore fans can think a naturally smaller man is expected to cut off a guy the size of Algieri who is running. It shows blatant lack of knowledge.

But your right too many people on here are stuck in their ways and I shouldn't assume they have the ability to search YouTube for a 1998 fight.
Algieri is not a dangerous puncher or big guy who's gonna use his size to wrestle Pac. Pac could not cut off the ring because of Algieri's movement, not because he's big and dangerous.

Mayweather having power at SFW and LW is common knowledge. That would be plain ******ity. Asking where is the footage of Pac fighting inside or cutting off the ring is a legit question, mainly because it never actually happened.

Like I said, this is your argument but you are not really showing any evidence to back up your claim that Pac was once an inside fighter who could cut off the ring.

difference with sweetpea and Floyd is sweetpea beats them in their own game, Floyd resorts to using his legs altho he's always an excellent defender even on the inside. now, I borught up Floyd because he doesn't shine vs guys that pac feasts on.

when pac fights fighters who utitlize mobility, he cant cut the ring off even if he's winning every round but when Floyd struggles vs brawlers , swarmers, nothing is lacking there? come on man

Mayweather always positions himself to get off offensively on the inside, and as you noted defends very well inside, maybe it's you who has to specify. I'm not trying to be an ass here either but what punch has Mayweather shown susceptibility to on the inside?

            LOOOOOOOOOOL

This thread is awful. We have an OP who refuses to provide evidence for a claim he made..........? WTF is that?

            Just awful.

This is too much. You've just exposed yourself as one of the "new" Pac fanboys. Be honest, you only started watching him after the De La Hoya fight, right?

              Inside fighter? once again.

I'd argue he cut Mosley off quite nicely.

Speaking of Mayweather he's a defensive specialist yet capable of fighting inside and cutting off a ring

manny is **** at these two offensive skills

nothing, like I said he is he is an excellent defender, the best ive see tbh. the knock is using his legs (running) and not looking good, thus why he gets called boring.
