Wow. Never seen anything like it; waiting for the result of a fight that would take months, which include fighters of such fight taking time to nurse their injuries, initial exploratory talks, change in plans, etc.

Why can't he fight someone available?

He is trying to find the weakest opponent he can fight without being laughed at and ridiculed. Stevenson is not as dominate as Kovalev he does not want to get embarrassed this late in his career. But all anyone is going to remember him for is ducking Kovalev and fighting karPANSIES. The paydays are tiny compared to finding bigger fights I assume he has no confidence.
