This is bull****, you can't just have catchweights between 2 champs in the same damn division. Canelo ain't a middleweight? Move back down to light middle then .

What middleweight spends the last 2 years fighting at 155, never having weighed over that for a fight in their entire life (pro or amateur)?

This stuff happens all the time in boxing. Ultimately this fight happening will probably hinge on GGG wanting a title or a pile of money & a Canelo fight. Respect to him either way. I question if he can even get to 155 if he wanted to despite whats been said in the media.
I meant actually be outweighed by someone. He's always been the bigger man.

notice how the writer of this article mentions "Alvarez-Cotto" as if it was Canelo who was the A-side in that one.. LOL bullshiet.

            cotto was clear A side.

The question is: Does GGG want to take a shot at greatness or is he content with trinkets? He had a shot at greatness once before but he turned it down. "Ward to much for me".

There's no greatness in fighting the weakest paper champ in boxing.

Of course Golovkin will give up weight if he has to. The question is if Canelo will budge from 155. If he goes to 157 the fight shouldn't collapse over the weight issue. But I don't know if his team are interested enough in the fight to do that.
