    What's next for Tim Bradley?

He and Crawford won't fight each other. Eddie Hearn said Bradley wants to take some time off so the fight with Brook isn't happening in the summer. So it's a Vargas rematch or Cotto in the fall at 154. Maybe even a Marquez rematch. Tim's possible fights are looking slim.

Part of me wouldn't be shocked if he retires. Mostly I think we won't see him do anything til the end of the year. I'm thinking a Vargas rematch is probably the most likely fight to make. Get some confidence back, get a W, get a belt.

I tend to think he's a distant option for Cotto, but that fight could happen. And I'll still be a lil surprised if Marquez fights again let alone fight Tim.

nah, its too soon for him to retired. if he's really thinking about it, i'll say 2017 will be his last year. i just cant see tim calling it quit right now, especially how his last fight ended in a lost. he's just been in way too many tough fights as of lately so thats prolly why he felt drain and tired and mention retirement. give him some time to rest, he'll be back.

If Top Rank won't work with PBC, Tim should try to buy out his contact. There's really nothing left for him at Top Rank. I guess the Vargas rematch but is that really what Tim should be doing at this stage in his career? He's past that. Cotto or Brook. If he can't get either of those fights he's reached his plateau of promotions at Top Rank. Tim has never been a ticket seller

He resigned with TR before the Manny fight. I assume he was forced to to get that fight in the first place as is standard TR protocol, but its probably extremely unlikely Tim would even be thinking about buying out his contract. And tbh I think TR is the best thing to happen to Tim & I'm a cat who loves to find reasons to **** on Arum.

The Vargas fight is definitely a bit whatever at this point for Tim I'd agree. The thing is I feel like TR's strategy with moving their fighters is to go for the best W you are basically assured of winning after a L like this. I think Vargas represents that. Cotto is a risk. Marquez is a risk (people keep acting like their first fight was the widest 7-5 scored fight in the history of boxing, but I think that was & is a close fight Tim could lose). Crawford & Tim won't fight. Brook is a risk. Vargas isn't a risk really. Is there anyone else who should be in the conversation? I'm not sure off the top of my head, but I still suspect Vargas is the best opponent Tim is almost assured of beating.

I'm not sure if Bradley fights again this year, if he does, it will likely be against either Provo or Vargas. Either is fine with me, as long as it then leads to a Brook fight first up in 2017.
