Comments Thread For: Golovkin's Promoter: No More Step-Aside Deals For Canelo!

My biggest problem with GGG was his poor resume and not making an effort to do anything about it. They need to quit letting these guys jerk them around and take that damn belt so we can all move on. My respect would go up X 10 if they refuse this step aside deal and force the WBC to strip this diva.Comment

i would also respect them a lot more if they stripped Canelo instead of taking another step aside fee.Comment

Let's just say Golovkin did duck Ward (there seems to be evidence that supports both sides on this issue), was Ward Golovkin mandatory? Was Ward in the same division as Golovkin? Then on top of that what was the timeline Ward wanted for this fight.
You people keep comparing apples to oranges when it comes to this issue. The two situations aren't remotely similar but you keep trying to **** that circle into a square hole.
Keep the hate strong though, it's entertaining anywayComment

Canelo has to either give up his belt or be stripped if he has no intention of facing his mandatory.....being middleweight champion means you defend your belt against other middleweights who can weigh up to 160lbs ...it's called defending your middleweight belt....now Canelo's fun ride at 155lbs is about to finish and he can no longer claim to be a champion of that division if he is not willing face his challengers period....I really don't care if golovkin faces canelo or not....I would much rather see the middleweight title being held by a middleweight and then he defends against other middleweights
If canelo can make 154 then that's what he should do...but personally him trying to make that weight could have serious problems for him if he is weight drained and 154lbs has killed him trying to make it.....that's when fighters lose so canelo better be careful or he could end up getting Donald curried
So you had two Ex139 lbers running the MW division and GGG.
Did you even see the Saunders/Lee fight??? It was TERRIBLE!!! It was like watching two ******s fighting.
Wade vs. GGG is even worse of a mismatch then Quillin vs. Zerafa!!!Comment
