This reminds me of those old cartoons or t.v. comedy sitcoms where a guy draws a line in the sand and dares the other guy to go passed it, than than when he does the other guys steps back and makes a new line and says I dare you to cross this one. GGG's team straight posturing and fronting. New word for Urban dictionary, GGG'ing.

Used in a sentence: Man I walked by a bunch of ese's on da streets, dey mean mugging like hell, but when I called dem out they did nonthin, they were just ggg'ing...

Miguel Cotto (39-4, 32KOs) and Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (44-1-1, 31KOs) are the two money names in the middleweight division, and they're widely expected to fight each other in 2015. What's less clear is whether the winner will defend the lineal title against the much-deserving WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin. (30-0, 27KOs) However, GGG's promoter, K2 managing director Tom Loeffler, is confident his fighter will get one of the mega bouts with Cotto or Canelo.

            GGG's promoter

"Canelo and Cotto will fight next year, that fight makes a lot of sense. Then Gennady will get the winner of that fight...You can't force a fight, but if they don't fight then they'll vacate the title."

That was ALMOST 2 years ago saying the winner of the Canelo/Cotto fight will either fight us or vacate. That didn't happen because the GGG camp first allowed Cotto to fight not one but 2 voluntary defenses. Then let Canelo fight a voluntary defense. They talk tough about making fighters get their belt stripped or forcing them to vacate and then flip flop and bend over and agree to allow them to keep the belt and fight someone. They are frauds and don't give a crap about winning another paper vacant belt. They want the big named fight but they foolishly think they are the big name that gets to dictate the terms. Canelo had to agree to Floyd's catchweight and he was a much bigger star then GGG is. Why shouldn't he do the same?

The WBC stripped lineal champion Miguel Cotto of his middleweight belt Tuesday, just four days before his megafight against former unified junior middleweight titlist Canelo Alvarez in Las Vegas.

While Cotto remains the lineal champion -- the man who beat the man who beat the man, etc. -- he was relieved of the green-and-gold belt for what the WBC called noncompliance with the organization's rules and regulations...

"The WBC hereby announces that effective immediately it has withdrawn recognition of Miguel Cotto as WBC world middleweight champion."

The WBC also announced that if Alvarez (45-1-1, 32 KOs) wins Saturday's fight, he will claim the vacant WBC belt. Alvarez would also displace Cotto as lineal champion. If Cotto wins he will remain lineal champion but WBC interim titleholder Gennady Golovkin will be elevated to full WBC titlist.

Big drama show. Please stick to your guns, Loeffler, and don't take the step aside money.

Chavez BARELY could make 160 at that time and today can't even make 170. He couldn't fight Sergio below 160 even if he wanted to. Canelo makes 155 EASY! And Canelo is not the idiot who spent all year calling out Manny and Floyd saying he can fight both at 154 and that he can make 154 easily because he is not a big middleweight. But now all a sudden he can't make 155 for Canelo? Canelo has never said he is fighting at 160 or called out any other fighters saying I'll fight Joe at 160 but you GGG it has to be 155. He's fought everyone the last few years at either 154 or 155 this isn't a new requirement just for GGG. So if you want to fight the bigger star you have to go to his weight to do so. If all you care about is the belt then stop stepping aside and you can have that belt. Nobody is forcing him to drop weight for the title. He could of had the title last year if that was the case. What Canelo is saying is you need to drop weight if you want to fight me I'm the bigger star and we fight on my terms. Kind of like GGG said to Ward just last year.

Mexican boxing fans are very savvy they know whats going on here, and most want to see the fight because they know it would be a war while it lasts. IF Canelo backs out, this being the 3rd time( K2 allowed Cotto then Khan) and shows cowardice, those same savvy fans will be ashamed of Canelo. He is feeling the pressure now from them and the boxing media, I think they fight at 157 or 158 this fall.
