floyd was a few fights removed from 140, where he easily made weight. he went to the full 154 limit to face de la hoya, who was the WBC champion of the world. de la hoya called all the shots and made all the rules. floyd weighed in at 150, meaning he didn't even cut weight. he was a small welterweight, undersized, facing the top 154 pound champion in the world and beat him straight up.

Stop it. Oscar was on his way out near retirement and way past prime. He only had 2 more fights after that. He even struggled with sturm before that. Lol.

My favorite thing after the fight was over was that Oscar could not answer why he stopped using the jab. Funny how a lot of guys seemed to stop doing what they do best around Floyd.

              1. GGG doesn't have a better career win.
              2. Floyd barely beat a far past-it ODLH.
              3. Pacquiao stopped a shot ODLH.

******ed thread filled with morons arguing ****** positions.

That's why I said it was a good win I didnt say it was great. Point being Floyd risked going up in weight to fight the bigger man at a weight the bigger man was comfortable at. Floyd didn't need 4 tune ups like Ward or 6 years fighting at his made up weight class like cantnelo

Ferfal? who the **** is that? It's the second alt name they say I was this month... LMAO.

I'm a Matthysse fan, Pacquiao fan, Maidana fan, Sergio Martinez fan, GGG Fan, Kovalev fan... the list goes on and on.

You'll see punchers, boxers, ofensive, defensive styles, anything in my list. You'll never see a clincher, take that for granted.

In prime Oscar kills Floyd or Pacquiao in 135-147 pounds, no doubt about this.

Oscar in prime was a monster, he did what Floyd never did in the olympics games, and only with 19 years old.
