He is a pro boxer and tough mentally and physically. Every cell in your body is replaced in 6 months so unless the attack did damage that can't be repaired he should be back to 100% physically by now. Mentally I don't know but I think he won't let it affect his fighting in the ring. He knows no boxer did that to him. He has been fighting like a real champion and knocking guys out viciously and quickly. I don't think that will change when the competition gets better.Comment

Looked into this more today and was shocked at how gnarly the wounds actually were. On major muscles too. Though I'm sure he's boxing fine now, I don't believe he's at "100%" or will ever be. Severing muscles like that is a serious thing. Folks I know with similar injuries have pain years after the incident. The nerves and muscle fibers don't just sew themselves back together like a jigsaw. There's always some permanent damage from deep lacerations, some things that don't go back as they were, and sometimes it can be severe. Don't expect him to share though as it does him no favors if his opponents know he's having issues.Comment
