Has Kell Brook truly recovered from his Machete attack?

I know Brook has had 3 fights since then, but that doesn't mean he's still the same Kell Brook as before the attack.

After his leg was slashed that night on that island in Tenerife, blood was squirting everywhere and he passed out from the blood loss after leaving a trail of blood through the streets. Doctors said he was in critical condition and had to perform surgery to save his life because the machete severed two major muscles. Brook was in bed for months and couldn't feel his leg for a long time. It took away all the momentum he had after beating Porter.

I find it hard to believe that any professional boxer could truly be the same after something like this. Yes he recovered and can still easily beat guys like Bizier and Gavin, but when he has to fight an elite fighter again for 12 hard rounds I just don't know if psychologically (if not physically) that attack will have an affect on him.

Brook may still be the #1 Welterweight on the planet right now, but I don't know if that attack took something out of him that he can never get back.

Btw the circumstances of the Machete attack was shady as fk and Brook's story is pretty suspect too. Anyone have more information on this?

Physically he should be healed but mentally it did take away all his momentum after winning the IBF Title.

Could also be possible that the near-death experience made him stronger though. Kell Brook vs Errol Spence is the next super fight in boxing,

Brooks's story is hard to believe and he seems to be covering something up. It was almost like he didn't want the police to investigate further.

Why would you go to a random mana house that you just met at a bar.
