Seems like most like to follow boxing for the accounting. How much a certain fighter makes and whether a match up should "marinate" for 3-5 yrs.

This is why MMA is winning.
Still love boxing and yes I still get that rush when a great fight is announced or when some matchup that not many people care about turns into a classic. Hell fights that had me in on the edge of my seat in the last year, like Fonfara vs Cleverly, Vargas vs Muira, Mares vs LSC, Martinez vs Salido and many others are why I watch the sport. This year has been a little slow to start, but there are some exciting matchups otw.

I'm seldom soft when watching boxing, especially during weigh ins when they're in their underwear. So yeah.

Yea it does see the problem with alot of fools like OP they are more Commercial Marquee driven fans, they only get excited if its top names fight and the actual work. Take this weekend for instance we had good fights on. Browned vs Kajajie (or however you spell that) it was a very entertaining fight sloppy, filled with darma etc, and then we had spence who just put on a masterclass in a thrilling way. These fights had me hype.

You have to ask yourself do you watch boxing or do you only watch main events fights. If you only watch main event fights then you just a casual who knows a lil something.

Tons of fights this weekends, specne vs algeri, brown vs kajakiji, soto karass vs kamiguy, verdejo vs mexican dude (LOL at verdejo HE TE FUTURE DOE) + many more if you cant get excited but any of these fights you just aint a boxing fan.

it was on estrella- one of the spanish netwoks. It was a GBP card. the LA fight club show.

I watch the solo boxeo cards on the spanish networks frequently. Since I am not fluent I turn the sound down and just enjoy the action.

I watch PGA too since that is the sport i have ran to in my older age but its fun to watch at times.

Have season tix to Oakland A's too so thats more time.

But i can record and watch fights later. All you have to do is resist getting on social media or boxing sites.

                    Pick-n-choose fights you wanna watch

The Maidana/Broner did. Extremely entertaining fight.

Frankly, there are some chess matches that put me on the edge of my seat. Quillin vs Lee was very intense. Don't know what happened to Quillin in the Jacobs fight, but he won me over with his boxing skill in the Lee fight.

Promoters need to make more of these chess matches, instead of the usual come forward vs slick guy. Charlo vs Lara should have been made a long time ago, for instance. Bradley vs Pac 3 was a chess match. Extremely entertaining. Of course, if you're a MMA fanboy, you won't like it.
