    Think man.
Just say GGG team ducked him and move on man...stop making these excuses..IT IS WHAT IT IS

So basically all people have is Ward. I thought so.

People are acting like GGG is ducking people left and right all because he didn't fight a guy fighting two weight classes above him?

The GGG hate is absurd and not based on facts.

Hate Canelo. He's the natural middleweight too scared to fight at that weight.

Doesn't mean he should take a low money, high risk fight against a guy two weight classes bigger than him.

BTW, why doesn't Canelo fight him at Canelos natural weight class?
So he picks ob smaller men but ducks bigger men? Sounds like a bully.

        Golovkin has not enforced mandatory.

GGG is a good fighter with a lot of hype but at least Manny had a great resume to back up some of the hoopla...top 3 p4p by big name companies yet look at his resume...it is absolutely the worst ive seen of someone with so much hype...top 25 of last 25 years....thats a laugh

seems like in the states foreign fighters have to do less than our fighters to get in the spot light
Manny Paquio was a foreign fighter but he didn't get all this love because he was foreign. The level of excitement he delivered was bar non. He brought us memorable KOs, none stop action and exhibited crazy talent and changed the face of boxing in the Philippines and around the world. Not to say that Mayweather didn't do a lot either but i wouldn't cry about it if one or the other guy got it. To say that Paquio only got the award over Mayweather because he was Foreign isn't right.

I still don't see too many foreign fighters who are getting a whole lot of credit in the states for dong less. GGG isn't rated because of his ATG resume. Anyone with his resume would be the consensus number 1 in their division and likely top 10 p4p but it really comes down to how he does it. Based on his resume he shouldn't be top 25 of the last 25... based on the skill level he has shown vs. world class middleweights... maybe.

Either way i think he gets all the hype/attention because he is a KO artist who destroys fighters who previously were considered world class in his division and some of which were never KOd before and proven to have good chins... and he makes it look easy. He doesn't lose rounds also.

A lot of fighters went without losing rounds....until their level of competition got stiffer...this dude is fighting another unranked fighter in defense of his "title"

look at the current top ten middleweights....he has one win over a top 5 or 6ish guy....thats Lemieux....he hasnt even beat the champ yet either

Put it this way...daniel geale is one of his best wins, while for Cotto it isnt even close to one of his best wins and he battered the guy. He has a hall of fame resume, GGG does not.

you just cant give someone greatness, he has to earn it

Look at where mayweather was after 34 fights and compare it too GGG...people crapped on Mayweathers comp, labeled him a cherrypicker yet at that point he won titles at 3 weights...2 lineal...11 lineal defenses...thats p4p material....GGG resume, not so much....you're supposed to dominate overmatched competition. thats not impressive

When he fought the guys he fought they were in the top 10... and naturally they would fall off or down the list. Was Martin Murray a scrub? arguably he beat Martinez and should have been the lineal champ... even guys like Proksa and Mathew Macklin at the time he fought them were top 10 fighters (can't remember for sure).

157 lbs Geale is nothing to be proud of so yes no one cares about that win for Cotto. Would 164 Ward be a good win for GGG? i dont think so.

you said he hasn't beat the champ... are referring to the lineal champ? if so then you can't beat a lineal champ if he is hiding from you. The illusive lineal champ has been in hiding (and frequently changing) in the middleweight division because whoever it was at any point they refused to step into the ring with GGG, starting with Martinez, going to Cotto and now Canelo...

Also his competition is over matched because of how good he is, like i said the fighters he beats are world class middleweights... but no other middleweight can do what he is doing to the level of competition he is doing it too...

Hagglers resume is littered with former welterweights and even a great lightweight. All the fights you remember are against guys that weren't middleweights.

So if Canelo,Thurman,Lara,Charlos, spence etc move up and fight GGG he can have the same resume as Hagler had in the long run.
