He wasnt....he was a titleholder and lost his biggest fight there....he proved his greatness at 154 and up

His best wins are Bruce Curry, Pipino Cuevas, angel espada and he was in his early 20s

He was huge, dangerous but not fully develop....he didnt have much of an inside game there, didnt know how to clinch and his stamina wasnt tge best because he got them out so early...plus he was really young at '47

      1) He is a foreigner...they get more love in the states than our own fighters....interviews from the fighters themselves and trainers make this clear

      2) He is not black or mexican...the fighters who dominate at the highest level at 160 and below...he gives a different look, and some people relate to him.

      3) He is a knockout artist

Seriously, you're getting old! You are a very dangerous boxer, the best in the middleweight division, but you have not proven yourself against impressive opponents yet! Enough of Macklins and Geales! Accept that you need to take some chances to achieve greatness! You're getting avoided? Yeah, that's true. It's sad and annoying. But time is ticking, man. Do you wanna achieve greatness or not? Do you want to show the world what you're made of for real? Just face that coward Canelo at 155 lbs, you can easily beat him, he's a hypejob! He won't have any excuses if you accept to fight him at 155 lbs! Winning that fight would make you so famous that the other impressive opponents will be forced to fight you! As I said, and now will say again: Golovkin, pull yourself together!

Fight Billy Joe Saunders too, just let him have his conditions, he's a proven and undefeated champion with wins against Eubank Jr. and Lee. Just man up, swallow your pride, take a chance. For the fans. They made you rich. Now show them that you are worth the money. You can do it if you pull yourself together.
Best post I seen within BS in a longggggggg while! Green K!

i agree with 3, i don't know about the other two. Aside from other KO artists you rarely see any foreigners get any love in the states (there are exceptions of course). unless you have a few prime examples you can share.

So the Golovkin fan doesn't think Hearns is great. I wonder why.

So what welterweight should GGG beat to have a great resume like Hagler?
