1) The catch weight was 157, Hopkins came in @ 156, and De La Hoya was 155. For B-Hop to come in @ 156, at age 39, makes GGG complaining about 155, at age 34, look very "suspect."
2) Canelo is weighing-in @ 155, the exact same as Oscar De La Hoya. Canelo was probably 170 on fight night when he fought Floyd, but that didn't stop Floyd from fighting him. Champs fight bigger people sometimes (Floyd). Champs fight smaller people sometimes (B-Hop). This is what champs do!
3) GGG does NOT have to accept Canelo's terms. However GGG will never be on the same level as B-Hop, Mayweather, Cotto, or Pacquiao, if he doesn't fight somebody with a resume ASAP!
4) If GGG wants to stick around at 160 and wait for Canelo, that's his decision, but we can stop with all the talk of "anyone from 154-168" especially when somehow GGG seemed to miss the chance to fight Ward and Canelo.
