yeah but khan really sohuld have lost to algeiri. that was a bad decision. algeiri was busting him up and landing the much better punches. khan got that one on "calzaghe activity" not on clean punching.
i don't blame brook for goign after it but he had no back up plan at all. it was khan or bums. or in other word bums.
brook needs to at least try to fight garcia, bradley, spence, vargas etc...Comment

I'm really not interested in the American networks, they aren't required.
Brook doesn't generally clinch, it was a result of Porter lunging in with his head down as always. Brook fights are never full of clinching, every Porter fight is a clinch-fest...put the blame where you want, but it's a constant with Porter.
Those same networks gladly pay Porter, Andre Ward, Alexander, etc... millions.
and i think brook will clinch if he's uncomfortable. no one clinches when they are in control of a fight(unless they are wlad) i remember in the 2nd jones fight he clinched jones up a lot more and got a totally different result.Comment

he landed the much cleaner punches. why would you give it to khan for throwing punches that didn't land clean? how does that make any sense in boxing? don't pay attention to the rhythm of the fight or some other nonsense. just look where the punches land. one guy can be throwing the kitchen sink and missing while the other guy is picking clean accurate shots. the guy landing should win at least under the rules. you probably thoguht clazaghe beta hopkins because he hit a lot of the air aroudn hopkins so thats just a shame some people have been conditioned to think that kind of crap wins fights. meanwhile the guy displaying defensive skill and accuracy is deemed the loser because people say he didn't "do enough" or "try hard enough" as if the guy throwing punches that don't land very cleanly is really trying hard. they are trying hard to get the decision because they know boxing judges are notoriously terrible but if they are really trying to hit their opponent and they can't thats just more credit to their opponent.Last edited by daggum; 04-17-2016, 06:35 PM.Comment

yes they pay those guys but those guys are american. if ward was from kazakhstan he would have zero chance of beign on american tv. like i said if you are foreign you have to be not only good but exciting. you can't come over here and start clinching nonstop and think you will get a long term contract which brook doesn't need since he has his own fanbase.

I don't think you'll see him clinch much against guys that aren't just trying to bulldoze inside and rough things up.Comment

Lou are you still yapping? Don't be a fool and toss him to the wolves yet, much less against Brook. Brook is the real deal and he would put something on Spence that Mr. Clean won't take off.Comment
