No, he doesn't need to grow anything. He can weigh in at 135 if he wants to. Golovkin will weigh in at 159 or 159.5. That's the fight. But Cowardnelo says no... weigh in at 155 because I'm scared.

It only doesn't matter when Canelo has the weight advantage, I'm sure he feels different about the weight against GGG which isn't even an advantage just equal

"was horribly drained against Pac though so that doesn't count" a guy here recently told me...
I think Oscar was a brilliant fighter and doesn't get near the credit he deserves. But, as a promoter, he's a complete sheister.

Beat down was so bad for DLH that he forgot that one time he dropped to 147 after a decade at 154 and got beat to hell by a 135 pounder.

                      Opposite imo

Back in the older days, the weight differences were less significant.

If a 147 fighter wanted to challenge the 160 champ, the mw champ would be around 160 or so.

Now mw can be anywhere from 160 to 190 lbs. with all the cutting weight.

Hell Castillo at LW a few years ago was bigger than Lamott at mw.
