Brook didn't really soundly outbox Porter who is a wild and sloppy, he won clearly but he defused him with clinching not letting him throw those wide shots in close.

I don't quite get how he would do a better boxing job on a much more technically sound fighter in Spence. Not that Book can't win mind you or shouldn't be favored.

Lacy was a left hook dominate fighter with no real right hand to box a guy in, and Calzaghe being left handed very good boxer can easily take a left hook away and get his own offense on that sort of fighter. Spence is left handed and has a wide array of punches that I see, Brook has a good straight right so he can make that work but it would be nowhere near the same sort of fight.

I wouldn't actually mind seeing Spence v Porter if the Brook fight doesn't happen anytime soon.

Porter has a horrible style to look good against, but he's beatable. On his day i think Porter can make it a long frustrating night for anybody. It would be interesting to see how Spence does with him.

            'Errol Lacy' lol.

But seriously I doubt this analogy plays out, at worst Spence loses a competitive fight but it's hard to see someone as good as Spence being blown out or schooled by Brook.

Lacy was a one dimensional and limited fighter, Spence has pretty much every punch in the book and is just more talented. True he is there to be hit mainly for uppercuts or overhands.

Spence walks into shots, you can't do that with Brook, its a suicide mission

The way to beat Brook is with footwork, a jab and long range tactics

Spence pressure style may work on Khan and Thurman, but it will not work on Brook

I see flaws in Spence, Brooks right hand is the real deal

This fight will end very quickly

Brooks right is legit I just don't think he can stop a big WW like Spence. The time to fight Spence is now. Spence is only going to get more polished the more rounds he gets.

I like that UK boxing fans say as much nutty **** as US boxing fans these days.

Kell Brook will knock Spence out in 5 rounds.

Spence likes to come forwards, he's there to be hit, i saw a shot Chris Algeiri land a solid flush right hand and a flush left hook,
believe me Kell will land and take the hypejob out

The boxers who will trouble Kell are ones who can fight from the outside and on the back foot like Khan and Thurman..in and out style

Spence is always in range, watch how Kell does a Jeff Lacy job on him and the tears that follow after.

Beating a war torn Chris Algeiri doesn't fool me

I'll bump this thread when Kell demolishes Errol Lacy

I have never got a prediction wrong

Like i said, the only 2 boxers who can beat Kell are Khan and Thurman...styles
I am not ready to discredit Spence because I don't see him doing a lot "wrong". But, Errol is being talked about like an elite fighter but I don't see the footwork, or quite the speed that typically makes an elite fighter. I was actually hyped for him last year, but I'm starting to get disappointed in that he doesn't do much with his feet in terms of range, angles, etc. He'll be trouble for anyone who hangs within range but I am not sure that he will do as well with someone who can hang just outside of range and move in and out (which Kel can do and which Chris should have been doing). Chris did hit him cleanly several time, but that's no knock since Chris isn't entirely terrible.

As good as Spence looks, I'm not seeing enough to give him credit for more than he's actually accomplished, like everyone else here seems to be doing. Brook is a bit unproven too, but his hype has faded over the last few months and he's probably getting less credit than he deserves.
