besides all the PED's these young guys take including some of the older ones like Cunningham what are they giving them to cut weight. it is not humanly possible for these guys to get older and go into a lower class in mid 20's as when they fought in Olympics at 20 years old

By this logic, Manny has only beat "cracked" champions it seems.

He's gotta beat an elite before he's ready for an elite? Cool story, bro.

No he didn't. Algieri was never that good in the first place.

                Wtf?

Lou, I get that you are high on a solid win but lets not act like Algerei is a Manny Pacquiao or anything close, and triangle theories don't work in boxing. I saw Chris connect with several good hooks and if he had any real power at all, Errol could have been in trouble. This is jumping the gun bigtime. At this point, you would lose your house. Now Bradley vs. Spence is one hell of a fight I would like to see.

Everybody is vulnerable when they go to the body, coz you literally have to drop your hands when your go for the bod.

I do however agree that stopping someone is not a measure of another fighter, otherwise guys like Ward and Floyd would not be at the pinnacle of the sport like they are right now, coz they have failed to stop people that have been stopped by lesser opposition on many occassions, partly because they just refuse to take any risk as long as they are winning and partly because they don't have that kind of concussive power.

So yeah, Spence stopping Chris doesn't mean he is better than Pacquiao....yet, however it cannot be ignored that his performance was FAR better than Khan's, KO or not.

Any of those two is hell for Pac at the moment. Pac is an illusion. I honestly feel Pac has been one of the most overrated fighters in the last twenty years. Pac has been getting credit for beating people who were either knocked out or beaten up in their previous fights.

Anyone dumb enough to say they'd pick a prospect to defeat an arguable legend who just beat the #2 guy in his division and a top 5 p4p fighter needs to re-examine that opinion and what is its origin. Spence biggest win is Algieri...
It's because of virtuouso's of the past that they put these kind of high expectations on up and coming prospects.

Think about it. Mike Tyson was what, 21 when he won his first world title? Ali was what, 22? Floyd was what, 21 when he beat Gennaro Hernandez?

It's the high pedegree of America's greats of the past that is putting this kind of pressure on the newer generations, and rightly so if you think about it.

There is no need to stall Spence. One fight with maybe Guerrero or someone like that and in then he needs to be in there with a top fighter, preferably for a world title.

The guys is 26 years old and 20 fights in, it's time.
